A Place to Practice

Updated: Oct 9

Practice... Finding time to practice is tough. Being creative brings you joy right? Then my question is - why is it tough to find time to do the thing you love for yourself. You deserve to grow and you deserve to give yourself a comfortable place to enjoy your creative time. Make a place that is inviting for you to enjoy practicing: - have your pencils or markers sitting in a cup ready for you (keep only your favorite ones in there dont put your full set just keep enough that fits in a cup) - Have the things you want to practice already printed on paper ready for you to just get going. I liked to print out small 4 x 6 size images cause it was easy to color quick for a practice session. - Have a comfortable seat. A nice cushy seat if it is one that supports your back and feels so cozy then it is a total winner. Don't use that squeaky old stool because you will see that stool and run - pick the comfortable seat. - Have a nice bright light set up over your table. Use a white light like an OTT light so you can clearly see your work. It will take about 5 - 10 minutes to put this area together. These 10 minutes will be a game changer in your practice routine. So why are you still reading this? Go get your practice corner together . . . and I will let you thank me later, LOL! Have fun practicing with

purpose this week.
